"In 39 years, I have never written these words in a movie review, but
here they are: You owe it to yourself to see this film. If you do not,
and you have grandchildren, you should explain to them why you decided
not to." - Roger Ebert
I have not yet seen this movie. Mainly because it isn't playing everywhere yet. But when it does, I will see it, because I do believe that it will be one of the most important things that I can do, or that any of us can do. Just watching the trailer made me feel like I haven't done anything to fix the problem. And even though some people have said that Al Gore is trying to scare us, well they are right. He is trying to get us to react, to do something, to start the change. It is often said that the truth hurts. Well, once we get over the pain we can either ignore the pain or do something about it. Are you going to let your arm bleed or are you going to wash it out and put a band-aid on it.
There are some great movies coming out this summer. X-men III was one of them. I know, because I saw it. But I think we all need to take the time and watch this movie. Don't do it for yourself, do it for your kids.
